September 7th 2024
HOUSTON, TX – September 6, 2024 - Nando's PERi-PERi, the beloved South African restaurant brand recognized around the world for its flavorful, flame-grilled chicken, is excited to announce its third Houston location will be in Montrose. The latest expansion for the group will occupy a portion of the former Copy.com space on Westheimer Road, in the heart of one of Houston’s trendiest and most vibrant neighborhoods.
Just 4 miles east of Nando's Post Oak location, this 3,100-square-foot space will offer indoor seating for 84 guests and a welcoming patio nestled beneath the shade of mature trees will accommodate an additional 34 diners. This prime space is part of the historic Tower Theater redevelopment at 1111 Westheimer, an iconic mixed-use center being revived by Houston developer Radom Capital. Known for their work on popular destinations such as M-K-T, Heights Mercantile, and Montrose Collective, Radom Capital is redeveloping the property with upgraded facades and new tenant mix.
“We couldn’t be more excited to open our third Nando’s location in the Houston area, especially in the vibrant Montrose neighborhood,” said Sepanta Bagherpour, Chief Brand Officer of Nando’s USA. “Montrose is walkable, diverse, and full of energy—everything that aligns with the Nando’s spirit. We’re thrilled to become a part of this lively community and can’t wait to share our flame-grilled PERi-PERi chicken with even more Houstonians.”
With frontage on Westheimer and ample surface parking, the new Nando’s location is perfectly positioned in a highly walkable and dynamic area. The space will join an exciting lineup of nearby fast-casual restaurants, including Velvet Taco, Niko Niko’s and Sweetgreen.
Known for its bold PERi-PERi flavor, marinated for 24 hours and flame-grilled to perfection, Nando's menu will offer a variety of options, from signature chicken platters to wraps, salads, and bowls—all spiced to guests preferred level of heat.
Nando’s Montrose is set to open in mid-2025.
